Arc does the opposite.
Why we built this
I've watched people spend years optimizing for the wrong thing — chasing a title instead of a trajectory, accepting a raise that was actually a pay cut in disguise, staying in a company where their ceiling had already arrived.
The problem wasn't that they lacked ambition. It was that they lacked accurate signal.
Career coaches are expensive and often conflict-averse. Job boards show you demand without context. Salary aggregators lag the real market by 12–18 months. And nobody — nobody — tells you when you're stalling.
Arc was built to fill that gap.
What Arc actually does
You upload your resume. That's it.
From there, Arc runs a multi-stage analysis pipeline that maps your career trajectory across five dimensions: Velocity — are you accelerating, steady, or stalling? Ceiling — what's the realistic upper bound of your current path? Market fit — how does your profile read to the people doing the hiring right now? Risk exposure — where are you vulnerable? Positioning — what signal are you sending versus what you think you're sending.
It doesn't give you a score out of 100 and call it a day. It gives you a read — specific, labeled as inference where it's inference, with confidence bands instead of false precision.
The thing nobody else will say
If your trajectory is flattening, Arc tells you. If your comp is below market and you've been leaving money on the table for three years, Arc tells you. If the way you've described your experience reads as mid-level when you're gunning for senior, Arc tells you.
